Welcome to the
Conklin Reed Organ Museum
Home to one of the largest public collections of playable antique pump organs in the world, and a treasure trove of local history artifacts.
The LEE CONKLIN ANTIQUE ORGAN & HISTORY MUSEUM is operated and maintained by the Hanover-Horton Area Historical Society. The society and the museum celebrated their 45th anniversary in 2022.

The Museum collection currently consists of more than 100 organs and melodeons. Considerable work has been done to maintain and restore the building (the old Hanover school) and repair clinics are conducted to maintain the organs in playable condition. Artifacts of historical interest donated by people of the community are being preserved and also displayed.

International Reed Organ Society
The International Reed Organ Society has been an invaluable resource for our museum, and we were privileged to host their worldwide gathering in 2019. Contact the Society to find enthusiasts in your area, value your own organ, or just learn more about antique pump organs!
